Guest Experience Representative - Part Time

Job Type: Part Time (2-4 shifts per week)

Location: On-hill at Mt Seymour

Start Date: Mid-November or December 2022

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors, the Guest Experience Representative is responsible for performing the day-to-day tasks required in the operation of the Guest Experience department. Working in some or all on-hill areas of the department (including Season Pass & Ticket Office, Tubing & Tobogganing area, Lesson Check-in areas, & Mountain Host posts), the Guest Experience Representative will answer general inquiries about the products and services available, and will process sales of passes/tickets, rentals, lessons and camps, and will ensure guest satisfaction.

  • You genuinely enjoy helping guests with knowledge, purchases and questions and already have experience of doing so OR you've never had a job before but think this is a great place to start!

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

  • Positive attitude with enthusiasm for working at a ski resort.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supportive team member.
  • Good computing skills and the capacity to learn new systems.
  • Previous experience in a guest service or sales position considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Siriusware Point of Sale (POS) is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility in your schedule during high volume periods of the winter season.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Seasonal, November or December 2022 to March or April 2023
  • Must be available weekends
  • Must be available to attend all on-hill training dates
  • Must adhere to all Covid-19 protocols currently in place by Mt Seymour (if applicable)
