How It Works
Once accepted into the program, you’ll begin working at the start of the season in an Apprentice Instructor role. You must be available full-time to qualify.
- Mt Seymour pays for your certification course.
- After successfully completing the course, you’ll transition into a full-time instructor role.
- Due to the value of the training, no additional bonus payments are offered for Rookie participants.
- If you don’t pass the certification, we’ll do our best to place you in another department—if available. If not, employment won’t proceed.
Anyone who participated in the Apprentice Program in 2024/25 or later is also eligible for a Level 1 exam refund if they return full-time.
Note: Prior to the 2024/25 season, the Apprentice Program included the exam cost, which Mt Seymour covered at the time.
