Season Passes

As a season pass holder at Mt Seymour, I understand and hereby agree to the terms and conditions of carriage as follows:

  • Season pass quantities are limited and may sell out before the advertised dates
  • All sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable unless the Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee was purchased and your claim is eligible as per the Terms & Conditions of the Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee policy
  • Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee must be purchased at the time of Season Pass purchase, or by November 15, 2024
  • Season Pass deferrals from the 23/24 to 24/25 season are available up until November 15, 2024.  Deferrals will not be accepted/processed past this date.  Season Passes may be deferred a maximum of 2 times per guest. No further deferrals will be processed after the second deferral. 
  • Mt Seymour’s 90-Day Guarantee provides the assurance that if the winter season is reduced to less than 90 days due to unavailable terrain, 1% of the original season pass value will be credited for every day not operational under 90 days up to 90%. This monetary credit, based on the original season pass value, will be applied to the following year’s season pass
  • Season pass benefits do NOT apply to group rates or group bookings
  • The age of the season pass holder on November 1, 2024, must correspond with the category of the season pass purchased for the 2024/2025 season. If a season pass is purchased after November 1, 2024, then the current age of the pass holder applies
  • If you have an existing Mt Seymour RFID season pass, save the $5 card fee by renewing your pass online (for 2022/23 passes only) or over the phone (for 2020/21 or 2021/22 passes)
  • Students must be full-time (12+ credits / 3+ classes per week) for the duration of the 2024/2025 fall OR winter semester. A Student enrollment letter stating your name, name of your course/studies, the semester dates enrolled, and number of credits must be received prior to your pass being activated. Paid co-op/internships/apprenticeships, paid placements or residencies, masters, PhD & Graduate programs are NOT eligible for the Student pass. If you do not have access to your enrollment letter, a letter from the school administration stating the above mentioned criteria on school letterhead will be accepted
  • Proof of age via birth certificate, drivers license, or other proof of age card will be required for all complimentary Super Senior Season Passes, in order to activate the pass.
  • Family Season Passes are restricted to one purchase per household, and all pass holders must reside at the same address
  • All season pass holders must sign a Release of Liability before using their pass. Parents or legal guardians must sign on behalf of children or youth under the age of 19
  • Mt Seymour is not responsible for the amount of usage by the pass holder
  • All new season passes will be mailed to the purchaser's address or can be picked up in person. Passes cannot be collected on behalf of another individual outside of your family members
  • A current photo showing true likeness will be required and kept on file for all season pass holders
  • I will present my season pass for inspection upon request
  • If I lose or break my season pass, I will notify Mt Seymour immediately, and if the pass is not found I will be required to pay a $15 replacement fee. I understand that Mt Seymour reserves the right to deny pass re-prints
  • If I forget my season pass, on the first occasion I can receive a complimentary area pass, but on all subsequent occasions, I will be required to pay a $5 fee
  • Season passes remain the property of Mt Seymour Resort and may be revoked for misuse or violation of the Alpine Responsibility code or other Terms & Conditions
  • Use of this season pass by anyone other than the registered pass holder, or alterations to the season pass, including the creation of counterfeit passes will result in cancellation of that pass as well as fines of up to $500 to the pass holder and any other individuals involved. Pass holders may also incur further consequences up to and including legal action
  • The personal information that you provide when purchasing your season pass is collected for processing your season's pass application, delivering information and materials related to your season's pass purchase, for other promotional purposes, and contact purposes in case of emergency. This information is collected for Mt Seymour’s internal use and will not be disclosed except as may be permitted or required by law

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
(hereinafter referred to as the “Release Agreement”)

All Mt Seymour passes are sold subject to the Mt Seymour Release Agreement. This Release Agreement is between the Passholder and MT SEYMOUR RESORTS LTD. and its directors, officers, employees, instructors, guides, agents, representatives, independent contractors, subcontractors, sponsors, suppliers, hosts, volunteers, successors and assigns (all of whom are hereinafter referred as the "Releasees").

BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT

Electronic Transactions Act of British Columbia, SBC 2001, C:10 provides that a contract may be entered into by clicking on an appropriately designated icon on a computer screen, as is provided for this website! Persons purchasing a season pass for another, accept the Release Agreement as an agent of the pass holder. Please provide the pass holder a copy of this Release Agreement or have the pass holder read the agreement online.

3Ski

  • Only ONE 3Ski product per person, per season allowed
  • Valid from Jan 8, 2024 onwards
  • Black out dates: Feb 16-19, 2024
  • Prices do not include tax
  • No reservations required
  • New pass holders are required to pay a $5 new card fee
  • Reload an existing eligible RFID card to save the $5 new card fee
  • All 3 visits are loaded onto the one RFID card. Once you have your card, head straight to the lifts next time!
  • All uses must be redeemed by the end of the 2023/24 season
  • Not valid for use during advertised blackout dates
  • Non-refundable & Non-transferable
  • Not valid for Season Pass holder benefits including Reciprocal Mountain deals
  • No rain checks - we do not offer refunds in the event of rain, snow, or poor visibility. Guests are responsible for checking on weather conditions before deciding to purchase or redeem a visit
  • Rental equipment add-on includes skis, boots & poles OR snowboard, bindings & boots, plus a helmet
  • If a 3Ski Pass is lost or broken, a $5 replacement fee will be charged. Mt Seymour reserves the right to deny pass reprints

It is a condition of your use of the premises and facilities and your participation in these activities that you assume all risk of personal injury, death, or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any duty of care on the part of the ski area operator. 

Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing, tobogganing, sledding, cycling, hiking and all other recreational activities involves various risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to: boarding, riding and disembarking ski lifts; changing weather conditions; avalanches; exposed rock, earth, ice, and other natural objects; trees, tree wells, tree stumps and forest deadfall; the condition of snow or ice on or beneath the surface; variations in the terrain which may create blind spots or areas of reduced visibility; variations in the surface or sub-surface, including changes due to man-made or artificial snow; variable and difficult conditions; streams, creeks, and exposed holes in the snow pack above streams or creeks, cliffs crevasses; snowcat roads, road-banks or cut-banks; collision with lift towers, fences, snow making equipment, snow grooming equipment, snowcats, snowmobiles or other vehicles, equipment or structures; encounters with domestic and wild animals including dogs and bears; collision with other persons; loss of balance or control; slips, trips and falls; infectious disease contracted through viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi which may be transmitted through direct or indirect contact; accidents during snow school lessons; negligent first aid; failure to act safely or within one’s own ability or to stay within designated areas; negligence of other persons; and NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE OPERATOR and its directors, officers, employees, instructors, agents, representatives, volunteers, independent contractors, subcontractors, sponsors, successors and assigns.

Tickets & Rentals

  • Ski/Ride & Snowshoeing weekend & holiday tickets and/or rentals are valid for 4 hours from the start time selected. Weekday tickets are valid from ticket start time until resort closing time.
  • Tubing & tobogganing tickets are valid for 2 hours from start time selected.
  • All tickets and rentals are non-refundable, and all sales are final.
  • No rain checks - we do not offer refunds in the event of rain, snow, or poor visibility. Guests are responsible for checking on weather conditions before purchase.
  • For tickets and/or rentals purchased in advance - if Mt Seymour is forced to close on the date of your visit due to unforeseen circumstances, your purchase may be rescheduled to an alternative date within the current season, or refunded to your original method of payment.
  • Rental equipment is for single-day use only. Failure to return rental equipment may result in action from the RCMP and fees to the value of the equipment not returned.

Summer Camps

Eco-Adventure Camp Cancellation Policy - Please pay attention to this, as this has changed for 2024:

For all camps that start in July, the last day to cancel is May 31, 2024.

For all camps that start in August, the last day to cancel is June 30, 2024.

Cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per camp, the remainder will be refunded to the original method of payment.

In the event of illness/injury, a doctors note must be provided within 7 days. Upon receipt we will try our best to reschedule the camp, or provide a credit.

Winter Lessons & Camps

  • All lesson participants are subject to the Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk as printed on their Area Pass, Lift Ticket, or Season Pass and copied below.
  • Lesson, Area Pass, and/or Rentals must be used together on the same day and are not transferable
  • In the event of inclement weather, lesson participants can visit the conditions page on our website from 6.00am the morning of their lesson to determine if the lesson is going ahead. In the event that the lesson is canceled, guests may choose to have their lesson(s) rescheduled to a later date in the current season or receive a Mt Seymour e-gift card with the value of the missed lesson(s)
  • If Season’s Pass Holder discount was selected, participants agree to present their pass for inspection upon request
  • The personal information you provide upon registration is collected for the purpose of processing your lesson registration, delivering information and materials related to your lesson registration and for other promotional purposes, and contact purposes in case of emergency. School Programs

  • Season pass benefits/discounts do not apply to school programs.
  • After the registration deadline, students cannot withdraw unless they change schools or provide a doctor's note. Students who change schools will be withdrawn and refunded.
  • Changes to sport, level or rental are based on availability. Requests must be received at least three weeks before the lesson. 
  • Students who acquire their own gear after purchasing a lesson program with rentals are eligible for a refund of the rental (and extra rental time, if purchased).
  • Lesson check-in starts one hour before the lesson. If you are late, your activity will end as scheduled.
  • Attendance is extremely important. There are no make-up/catch-up lessons for missed lessons. 
  • Students who miss a lesson due to illness/injury are eligible for a refund with a doctor's note. Students who miss a lesson but do not provide a doctor's note are eligible for a weekday lift ticket (2023-24 season. Excluding Dec. 23, 2023-Jan. 7, 2024 & Feb. 16-19, 2024).
  • If a travel advisory is issued, or the resort is closed, we will offer to reschedule. If a new date cannot be arranged, refunds will be provided.
  • Three- and four-day lessons only: Level 1 students who miss the first and second lesson will be withdrawn from the remaining lessons. Refunds will be provided for the third and fourth lesson.
  • Extra rental time after lessons must be organized by the school at the time of booking. 
  • The School Program Value Season Pass is only offered to grade 4-8 students registered in a four-day lesson program. One per child per season. Complimentary passes hold no cash value and must be used within the season issued. Season passes can be collected from the Season Pass & Ticket Office once we open for the season. If the lesson program is cancelled/refunded (partially or fully), the Value Season Pass will be voided. For the 2023-24 season only: Guests will have the option to upgrade their complimentary Value Season Pass to a Full Season Pass by paying the difference. Guests who have already purchased a Value Season Pass can request a credit for the full amount they paid for their Value Season Pass. Guests who have already purchased a Full Season Pass can request a credit for the full amount of the Value Season Pass.

Room Rentals

  • Room rentals must be paid in full prior to the booking going ahead.
  • With 2+ weeks notice you can reschedule your booking for no penalty, or receive a refund, less a $25 admin fee.
  • Within 2 weeks there are no cancellations/refunds.
  • Guests must leave the space in its original condition. No confetti.
