A partial refund or credit will be issued due to:
- Injury, illness, or pregnancy that prevents the pass holder from using their pass for the remainder of the specified season (see “Making a Claim – Injury, Illness, Pregnancy or Transfers”)
- The pass holder is transferred by their employer or has been accepted to study at a learning institution, outside of a 200 km radius from the resort (see “Making a Claim – Injury, Illness, Pregnancy or Transfers”)
- Insufficient snow levels resulting in the Mystery Peak Express operating for less than 90 days (see “90 Day Guarantee - Terms & Conditions”)
- Forced closure due to Government guidelines related to the Covid-19 pandemic resulting in the Mystery Peak Express operating for less than 90 days (see "90-Day Guarantee - Terms & Conditions")
Without purchasing the Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee, Season Passes are completely non-refundable and non-transferable.
MAKING A CLAIM - INJURY, ILLNESS, PREGNANCY, OR TRANSFERS
Claim Requests will be subject to the Claim Schedule consistent with the date that Mt Seymour receives a Completed Claim. This is not the date that the injury occurred, nor the date stated on the required documentation (ie: doctor or employer’s letter) but the date that Mt Seymour receives a Completed Claim as described below.
A Completed Claim includes the following:
- Submission of a completed Mt Seymour Claim Form.
- Supporting Documentation:
- In the event of injury, illness, or pregnancy, a Medical Certificate that provides a prognosis and states that the Pass Protection holder’s situation will prevent participation, and for what length of time.
- In the event of job or school relocation, a letter from the Pass Protection holder’s employer or learning institution (on company letterhead) stating the date and length of the relocation.

EXCEPTIONS
The Pass Protection does not cover Non-Participation:
- Caused by or contributed to by intentional self-injury.
- Due to emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions unless the Pass Protection holder is hospitalized.
- Due to any injury or illness that does not prevent participation in skiing or snowboarding for the length or remainder of the winter season.
Terms & Conditions
In the case of injury, illness, pregnancy, or employment transfers, Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd. will offer a partial refund of the cost of the Season Pass subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee must have been purchased concurrently with the Season Pass (or prior to November 15, 2024)
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee fee ($59 per individual or $119 for Multi pass coverage up to 2 adults/seniors & 3 youth/child/tot) is not creditable or refundable under any circumstances
- Factors including the number of days that the Season Pass(es) were used and/or whether or not the pass(es) were issued to the Pass Protection holder will not be considered in the claim
- The Pass Protection is not applicable to any pre-existing injury or illness
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee also covers any Season Pass add-ons e.g. Rental Season Passes
- The Pass Protection holder becomes unable to Ski or Snowboard for the remainder of the season due to injury, illness, or pregnancy AFTER the Pass Protection has been purchased
- A Pass Protection holder is transferred by his/her employer making it necessary to move his/her residence outside a 200-kilometer radius from the resort, provided that the date of transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the season pass. OR A Pass Protection Holder has received confirmation of enrollment at a learning institution, making it necessary to move his/her residence outside a 200-kilometer radius from the resort, provided that the date of transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the season pass
- If a parent, spouse (legal or common-law), or youth/child (18 years of age or under) of a Pass Protection holder also must cease participation, he/she is entitled to the same pro-rated refund. The refund is limited to ONE additional claimant
- Refund requests will not be accepted after June 1 following the season closure (for which the claim is submitted)
- All refunds are subject to Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd.’s discretion and approval
90-Day Guarantee - Terms & Conditions
With sufficient snow conditions, Mt Seymour’s average season is approximately 90-120 days. Mt Seymour’s 90-Day Guarantee provides the assurance of a Partial Credit that can be applied to the purchase of a Season Pass for the following season if Mt Seymour’s operation is less than 90 days.
Without purchasing the Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee, Season Passes are completely non-refundable and non-transferable.
If Mt Seymour’s winter season is reduced to less than 90 days due to unavailable terrain or forced closure due to Government guidelines related to the Covid-19 pandemic (hereinafter referred to as the “affected season”), 1% of the original Season Pass value will be credited for every day not operational under 90 days up to 90%. This monetary credit, based on the original season pass value, will be applied to the following year’s season pass.
This 90-Day Guarantee is subject to the following Terms & Conditions
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee must have been purchased concurrently with the Season Pass (or prior to November 15, 2024)
- The 90-Day Guarantee only applies to Season Pass Holders of the affected season
- The credit has no cash value. If the credit being used exceeds the cost of the Season Pass being purchased for the following season, no refund or additional credit will be provided
- The credit is not transferable to other products or seasons or to other individuals
- The credit will expire on December 31 of the season following the affected season
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee fee ($59 per individual or $119 for Multi pass coverage up to 2 adults/seniors & 3 youth/child/tot) is not creditable or refundable under any circumstances
- Factors including the number of days that the Season Pass(es) were used and/or whether or not the pass(es) were issued to the Pass Protection Holder will not be considered
- The Pass Protection/90-Day Guarantee also covers any Season Pass add-ons e.g. Rental Season Passes
- The credit percentage will not be determined until the affected season has completely ended
- A non-operational day is defined as the Mystery Peak Express not operating
- One day of operation is defined as a minimum of 6 operating hours
