SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Rental Service Shop Technician will provide excellent guest service. You are here to make the guest’s skiing/snowboarding experience a memorable one. You will take on the responsibility of servicing rental and customer equipment. You will maintain the cleanliness of the Service Shop and will keep safety as your #1 priority when working with the service shop equipment.  

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

• You have a passion for helping people and providing great service to guests
• You can utilize safe and efficient methods while working on ski and snowboard equipment to ensure that a high standard of service is provided to guests and staff at Mt Seymour
• You take pride in the condition of ski/snowboarding equipment
• You can adjust ski and snowboard equipment in line with Mt Seymour’s policies and procedures to achieve a safe and comfortable fit for all guests. Having technical certification in Head-Tyrolia, Marker, Salomon, Rossignol, Fischer, and BOA is a plus, Mt Seymour provides training and certification should you need it
• You can ensure all rental forms are completed in a neat and accurate manner

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Some basic knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment
• Completion of Grade 12
• Capable of lifting 40lbs
• Cash handling experience
• You must be available during all holiday periods (Christmas, Spring Break), and able to work morning and night shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to be a supportive team member

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 

• Seasonal position, November through to mid-April
• Hourly wage
