Mountain Safety

The downhill area will be open today, Dec 21, 8.30am-4pm with the Goldie Magic Carpet servicing Goldie Meadows and Flower Basin.  Bear Bowl will be open for lessons. The Mystery Peak Express Chairlift will be closed today. Rentals, Retail, Santa at Seymour, The Service Shop, The Rock Chute, Harold's Cafe, and Tobogganing will all be open.

Should the weather conditions prevent your lesson from taking place, notifications will be posted on this page by 6am with the latest information. You will be contacted by a Mt Seymour Representative via email within 24 hours.

December 21, 22 & 23

Mt Seymour will be open 8.30am-4.15pm today for lessons with the Bear Bowl and Goldie Magic Carpet.

The following lessons will go ahead with terrain available:

  • Levels 1 & 2 Ski camps for Bear Cubs (all timeslots) & Mountain Riders (9.15 & 12.45 only)
  • All Snowboard camps for Bear Cubs (all timeslots)
  • Level 2 Snowboard camps for Mountain Riders  (9.15 & 12.45 only)
  • Level 1 & 2 Ski Private Lessons
  • Levels 1-3 Snowboard Private Lessons 
  • Intro 2 Ski/Snowboard Lessons

  • Next Steps Ski/Snowboard Lessons

     

Lessons cancelled, that will be rescheduled/credited due to reduced operating hours or the unavailability of more advanced terrain:

  • Level 3+ Ski camps for Bear Cubs
  • Level 1, and 3+ Mountain Riders Snowboard camps
  • Level 3+ Mountain Riders Ski camps
