Welcome to Ski & Snowboard

Looking to learn to ski or snowboard, but English isn't your first language, and you're worried that things might get lost in translation?

We have Welcome to Ski & Snowboard Lessons. More information on availability for winter 2026/2027 will be available in November 2026.

We offer the following languages: English, Mandarin, Spanish, Farsi, Cantonese and Korean. More languages will likely be added throughout the season.

The Monday night ski experience delivers safety and fun in the snow allowing you to enjoy skiing or snowboarding without language barriers.

Limited quantities, starting at $49.00 CAD

The beginner experience includes:

2-hour lesson
7 years old and over
Safety helmet rental
Free use of the Mt Seymour shuttle bus from Parkgate Community Centre or opposite Rupert SkyTrain Station
Gloves, goggles and socks starting at $99.
Ski or snowboard rental equipment (can be added for an additional fee)
Lift Pass (can be added for non-season pass holders for an additional fee)
