HOW DOES IT WORK THIS YEAR?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have implemented capacities to help mitigate the volume of people on the mountain. All tickets must be pre-purchased BEFORE you come to Mt Seymour. Information on both Dog Mountain and BC Parks trails can be found below. Please make sure you read the following information before coming up to ensure you are ready for your day of snowshoeing! 

 

The Discovery Snowshoe Trails (Mt Seymour Resort trails):

- Trail pass AND SNOWSHOES are required to use the Discovery Snowshoe Trails. 

- Passes must be purchased ahead of time 

- Reservations can be selected with parking or with Shuttle at the time of purchasing your ticket and are necessary on weekend/holiday days

- Passes and rentals can be booked HERE If you are having trouble with booking your tickets, use the directions in the section below. If the date you wanted is not highlighted, it is either sold out or not available for sale. Please ensure that you have filled in a waiver before your visit. You can do so HERE if you missed it.

- For snowshoe weekend passes, you do not have to be ready to snowshoe for the exact time you have booked. Your pass will become valid at either 8:30am or 12:30pm depending which time slot you booked. Please try to come as close to the start time as possible.

 

Terms & Conditions:

- All area passes are non-refundable, all sales are final.

- No rain checks - we do not offer refunds in the event of rain, snow or poor visibility. Guests are responsible for checking on weather conditions prior to purchase.

- For passes purchased in advance - if Mt Seymour is forced to close on the date of your visit due to unforeseen circumstances, your pass will be eligible for an alternative date of your choice. Must be used by the end of the current season.

- If you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms we ask that you do not visit the resort. In this situation area passes can be rescheduled to an alternative date within the current season, upon receipt of a Covid-19 test result. Please email info@mtseymour.ca.

 

Dog Mountain and Mount Seymour Main Trail (Pump Peak, Tim Jones Peak, Mount Seymour Summit):

- Dog Mountain and the Mount Seymour Main Trail is NOT a part of Mt Seymour Resort.

- Trail passes and/or reservations are therefore NOT required to use these trails. However, if you are renting snowshoes from Mt Seymour, you must purchase a snowshoe trail pass/make a reservation in advance.

- Parking for these backcountry trails is the backcountry parking area (Lower P5 and P1). These parking areas are allocated when you book a BC Parks parking permit use park permit HERE.

- If you are recreating in the backcountry, please make sure you are doing so safely. You must have the proper gear/clothing and bring the essentials with you. Please make sure you have a trip plan and have told a responsible person where you are going and when you are expected back. More information on this can be found HERE
