Snowshoe Information

How does it work this year?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have implemented capacities to help mitigate the volume of people on the mountain. All tickets must be pre-purchased BEFORE you come to Mt Seymour. Please make sure you read the following information before coming up to ensure you are ready for your day of snowshoeing!

Do I need to book parking?

If you are booking a snowshoe trail pass (or snowshoe trail pass + rentals) for a weekend or holiday date, you will need to reserve a parking space. You do not need to reserve parking for weekday tickets. You will be directed to do this while purchasing your ticket (see step 5 in the "How do I use the new online booking system" below). If you are using the backcountry (Dog Mountain + BC Parks trails) you do NOT need to make a snowshoe or parking reservation. You will be directed to park in the backcountry parking lots (Lower P5 and P1). These parking lots are first-come, first-serve and tend to fill up early. If it is full you will be turned away. More information on the Dog Mountain trail can be found here.

Pre-purchasing your ticket

- Trail tickets are NOT required for Dog Mountain or BC Parks trails (see parking details above).

- All snowshoe tickets for the Mt Seymour Discovery Trails and/or rentals MUST be pre-purchased for weekend/holiday period and weekdays. This can be done here. If you are having trouble with booking your tickets, use the directions in the section below. If the date you wanted is not highlighted, it is either sold out or not available for sale. We have up until Jan 3 available currently. Please ensure that you have filled in a waiver before your visit. You can do so HERE if you missed it.

- For snowshoe tickets, you do not have to be ready to snowshoe for the exact time you have booked. Your pass will become valid at either 8:30am or 12:30pm depending which time slot you booked. Please try to come as close to the start time as possible.

- All snowshoe tickets are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and must be used on the day they are purchased for. We do not offer refunds due to weather conditions. If Mt Seymour is closed you will be contacted with a refund. If any member of your party is sick or you have been exposed to someone with COVID symptoms, please give us a call and we can reschedule or refund your tickets.

The holiday period is Dec 21st to Jan 3
