Season Pass Reservations

The provincial park day-use program does not apply to Mt Seymour Ski Area guests who have either a reservation or a prepurchased ticket for an activity at the resort.

Reservations are available 4 days in advance.
Reservations are not required on weekdays for the remainder of the season.
Full & Value Pass holders can come and go as you please during the weekdays of Spring Break.

Why are we selling lift tickets when season pass holder time slots are full?
The reason Mt Seymour is continuing to sell lift tickets, when season pass time slots are full, is that as a ski resort we have to rely on multiple revenue streams to be financially viable. This year, we have again intentionally decreased the number of season pass holders by 20%, compared to 2019, so that there is more available inventory for season pass holders.

When are reservations required?
Every weekend throughout the season, and during the holidays between 8.30am-4.30pm. Holidays are Dec 17, 2022-Jan 2, 2023 & Feb 17-20, 2023 (Spring Break Mon-Fri will NOT require reservations). Other days may be added as reservable days throughout the season, dependent on predicted volume.

Which passes are required to make reservations?
All Full & Snowshoe Season Passes. Value Season Passes & 3Ski Passes do not require reservations as they are not valid on weekends/holidays between 8.30am-4.30pm.

What slots am I able to make reservations for?

Full Season Pass holders can make reservations for any available time slot on weekends.

When will reservations be available?
From 07.01am, 4 days in advance.

Example: Reservations for Saturday, December 10 will be available from the morning of Tuesday, December 6, and reservations for Sunday, December 11 will be available from the morning of Wednesday, December 7.

How do I make a reservation?

If you already have your season pass
If you reloaded your 2021/22 season pass, or have already received your physical Season Pass in the mail, then you are all set. Once reservations are available you will then choose the reload option and enter your WTP number. Once you have entered your WTP number you will be able to select an available timeslot. You must enter WTP numbers for each pass holder wishing to visit. Alternatively, you can login to your profile, select the WTP tab, and then select 'reload' next to your WTP number to be taken straight to the reload option.

If you have not yet received your season pass
If you do not have your Season Pass yet, you must still ensure you can access your online account. Then you can make a 'I have not received my Season Pass' reservation. Upon your arrival please visit the Season Pass & Ticket office to collect your pass. If you receive your season pass prior to your visit, please bring that with you to the Season Pass & Ticket office or give us a call 604.986.2261 option 6 and we can add your reservation to your pass. If you have not received your pass yet, it may be that we do not have a photo on file for you. You can capture or upload a photo within your profile when logged in. Smiles are encouraged, but no group pictures, hats, or sunglasses please.

How do I access my Season Pass holder perks e.g. 20% buddy pass discount for a friend or complimentary tubing ticket?
Please call our Call Centre on 604-986-2261 (option 6) to receive your perks.

Will there be enough allocated spaces in the time slots for season pass holders?
Season pass holders are our priority and we have put aside a specific allocation of visits for Season Pass holders for all time slots. These numbers are based on season pass holder visits from the 2019/2020 & 2020/2021 season. As with previous years, peak hours during high volume days will fill up quickly.

What if I can’t get to the mountain on time?
Your time slot will expire four hours after the start time. You are welcome to turn up after your start time but it will reduce the amount of ski or snowboard time available.

Can I arrive early?
Parking, if selected when booking your visit, will be available for you 30 minutes before your time slot begins so we ask that you do not plan on arriving earlier. If you do, you will be asked to wait until a parking spot is available.

Parking will be allocated to both season pass holders and lift ticket purchasers prior to their visit based upon historic usage. Once the parking allocations are full for a time slot either a different time slot will need to be chosen or guests and season pass holders must use the shuttle. We recommend car sharing with your bubble to free up parking spaces for other people. If you book a reservation with shuttle and attempt to drive up the hill, you will not be provided entry to the parking lots, you will have to drive back down the hill and catch the shuttle. 

Stuck on the road?
With the managed capacity and the 4-hr timeslots, we are confident that time spent waiting on the road will be significantly reduced. Yes, even at 10:30am on a Sunday!

As a season pass holder, what happens if I just show up and try to go skiing on a weekend or holiday?
You RFID season pass will not allow you to pass through the chair lift gate. You must book your time slot before you arrive on the mountain.

Why four hours?
During the 2019/20 season we introduced RFID gates, the data from the gates has shown us that the time our guests spend skiing and snowboarding on average was up to four hours. We also sent out a survey to our 2020/2021 season pass holders and they responded saying that on average they spent around three hours skiing and snowboarding per visit on weekends and holidays. When we tried this during the 2020/21 & 2021/22 season, we found that our guests had an overall more positive guest experience due to the lower capacities during peak periods. You will be able to stay as long as you want during weekdays outside of holidays or after 4.30pm.

What happens during the week?
Season pass holders can come and go as they please during weekdays (outside of the holidays). There will be no requirement to book a time slot and you are welcome to stay as long as you want.

Can I continue to ski or snowboard after my timeslot expires?
If there is availability you are more than welcome to book another time slot online while you are on the mountain, providing there is a parking allocation available or you have taken the shuttle. If there is no space available, you will be unable to book and your RFID season pass will stop working at the end of the time slot. After 4.30pm no reservations are required and your pass will work at the lift gates for the remainder of the evening.

Can season pass holders book more than one time slot in a day in advance?
No, but you will be able to extend your visit if there is availability for the next time slot online and a parking allocation. We have taken this decision to ensure that as many people as possible can safely enjoy the mountain on weekends and holidays.

Parents of children in full day programs e.g. Progression Team, will have extended reservations made for them as pre-arranged with Guest Services.

What happens if I don’t turn up for my time slot?
Life happens! The occasional no show is bound to happen. Kids get ill or that late night turned into an early morning BUT we need everyone’s cooperation and Mt Seymour reserves the right to revoke passes from repeat offenders. If you know you cannot attend your booked time slot, please complete our online cancellation form, so that another season pass holder can enjoy the time slot.
