Heavy Equipment Operator/Snow Removal

Reports to: Snow Removal Supervisor &  Slopes and Roads Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for operating our '950' loaders to clear snow from our parking lots and base area facilities. 

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

• You are mechanically inclined.
• You can follow directions and work unsupervised.
• You can work in all weather conditions.
• You can work evening and overnight shifts.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

• Own vehicle required to travel to and from work.
• Reliable, careful, and mature.
• Minimum Class 5 BC License with air brake endorsement, class 3 with Air Brake preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation preferred although training can be provided for the right candidate.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Seasonal position, November through to mid-April.
• Hourly wage $24 - $27.50 per hour depending on experience.
