Part-Time Guest Experience Representative

On-hill position, early December 2025 (Some training dates in Mid-Late November)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors, the Guest Experience Representative is responsible for performing the day-to-day tasks required in the operation of the Guest Experience department. Working in a variety of areas of the department (including Season Pass & Ticket Office, Rentals Desk, Lesson Check-in areas, bus scanning, and Snow play ticket desk) the Guest Experience Representative will answer general inquiries about the products and services available, will process sales of season passes, tickets, rentals, lessons, and camps, check validity of tickets and will ensure guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in guest service or sales positions.
  • A positive and friendly attitude.
  • Strong commitment to quality guest service.
  • Good computing skills and the capacity to learn new operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Siriusware Point of Sale (POS) is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Ski Resort industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to use good perception and judgment for quickly resolving problems.
  • The ability to use your initiative to get things done proactively.
  • A supportive team member with respect for your Supervisors.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and in busy environments.
  • Ability to learn and take on new tasks quickly.
  • To ask for help when you need it, admit your mistakes, and always be open to corrections. 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability of 3 shifts per week. Evening shifts typically run from 3:30pm-8:30pm.
  • Flexibility in your schedule during high volume periods of the winter season, and a commitment to your agreed availability. 
  • Reliable transportation to the mountain or designated shuttle stops (Parkgate Community Centre and Rupert SkyTrain Station), with a willingness to accommodate a longer commute.
