Guest Experience Representative

On-hill position with potential hybrid work from home opportunities, starting mid November 2025

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors, the Guest Experience Representative is responsible for performing the day-to-day tasks required in the operation of the Guest Experience department. Working across all areas of the department (including Season Pass & Ticket Office, Rentals Desk, Lesson Check-in areas, Snow play ticket desk, Bus Scanning, Traffic Stop and Call Centre) the Guest Experience Representative will answer general inquiries about the products and services available, check the validity of tickets purchased, process sales of season passes, tickets, rentals, lessons, and camps, and will ensure guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in guest service or sales positions (phone-based customer service experience considered an asset).
  • A positive and friendly attitude towards people of all walks of life.
  • Strong commitment to quality guest service.
  • Good computing skills and the capacity to learn new operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Siriusware Point of Sale (POS) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to use good perception and judgment for quickly resolving problems.
  • Ability to successfully navigate interactions with guests of a compliance nature. (explaining resort rules and rentals system procedures to guests
  • The ability to use your initiative to get things done proactively.
  • A supportive team member with respect for your Supervisors.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and in busy environments.
  • Ability to learn and take on new tasks quickly.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently.
  • Ability to ask for help when you need it, admit your mistakes, and always be open to corrections. 

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available for 5 shifts per week (8 hours per day)
  • Flexibility in your schedule especially during high volume periods of the winter season, and a commitment to your agreed availability.
  • Must be available for Christmas and March school breaks, morning, and night shifts.
  • Ability to work at a computer/desk for 8 hours a day
  • Reliable transportation to the mountain or designated shuttle stops (Parkgate Community Centre and Rupert SkyTrain Station), with a willingness to accommodate a longer commute.
