School Visit Coordinator

Title: School Visit Coordinator
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: Schools and Groups Manager


Summary of Responsibilities:
The School Visit Coordinator oversees the day-of coordination of our school programs, with a focus on ski and snowboard lessons. The Coordinator facilitates lesson check-in, prepares program materials, coordinates on-site program adjustments, and ensures a positive experience for visiting groups.


Responsibilities:

  • Keep Mt Seymour's core purpose, ambition, and values in mind: We exist to create wow experiences!
  • Support schools during their visit by welcoming organizers and participants, facilitating lesson check-in, distributing program materials, providing information, and addressing questions and concerns.
  • Maintain open communication with Snow School's School Lessons Supervisors, Rentals, Guest Services, and other departments to ensure schools receive the programs and services they have booked.
  • Prepare program materials and update internal shared documents to maintain accurate information.
  • Assist guests visiting the Rentals front desk by providing information, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Other related duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • Excited about winter sports and outdoor activities
  • Previous customer service experience
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Punctual, with exceptional time management skills
  • Exceptional oral communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Enjoy working in an active environment
  • Knowledge of the winter recreation industry is an asset


Terms of Employment:

  • Position Type: Seasonal, full-time
  • Wage: $21.50 per hour 
  • Employment Period: December 28, 2026 to March 12, 2027
  • Schedule & Hours: Monday to Friday, with shifts typically beginning around 8:30 AM. Employees can expect 30-40 hours per week. Hours may vary based on operational requirements and weather conditions, including reduced hours during the first and final weeks of employment.
