School Groups Coordinator
Title: School Groups Coordinator
Reports to: Schools and Groups Manager
Department: Marketing & Sales
Summary of Responsibilities:
The School Groups Coordinator supports the sales and administration of our school programs, with a focus on snowshoe tours, tubing, and tobogganing. The Coordinator manages bookings, supports organizers, coordinates program logistics with internal departments, helps grow school programs, and ensures a positive experience for visiting groups.
Responsibilities:
- Keep Mt Seymour’s core purpose, ambition, and values in mind: We exist to create wow experiences!
- Follow up on sales leads and booking opportunities to maximize bookings, and compile and maintain sales reports.
- Support schools by working directly with their designated organizer via phone and email communication, coordinating bookings, generating invoices, processing payments, sending program documents, and providing ongoing administrative support.
- Maintain open communication with Outdoor Education, Snowplay, and other departments to ensure schools receive the programs and services they have booked.
- Update internal shared documents to maintain accurate information.
- Greet schools upon arrival during peak periods and help direct them as needed; perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic about winter sports and outdoor activities
- Previous sales and customer service experience
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and administrative abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Experience with children’s programs and/or working in an educational setting is an asset
- Knowledge of the winter recreation industry is an asset
Terms of Employment:
- Position Type: Seasonal, full-time
- Wage: $22.50 per hour
- Employment Period: September 14, 2026 to March 12, 2027
- Schedule & Hours: Monday to Friday, with shifts typically beginning around 8:30 AM. Employees can expect 30-40 hours per week. Hours may vary based on operational requirements and weather conditions, including reduced hours during the final week of employment.
