Winter Cash Office Clerk

We are currently recruiting for F/T Cash Office Clerk to join our accounting team. Position commences mid-November and will run until April.

Responsibilities:

  • Count cash & audit revenue for each salespoint on a daily basis
  • Work closely with Dept Supervisors to resolve revenue/cash errors
  • Prepare daily revenue summary & bank deposit
  • Enter daily revenue & cash journals into Sage accounting system
  • Reconcile chase merchant deposits & ackroo gift card transactions to cashouts
  • Issue & reconcile ticket stock, gift cards and other restricted supplies
  • Prepare weekly attendance report
  • Prepare bi-weekly labour and gratuity reports
  • Manage mountain float including a weekly safe audit
  • Manage issue/return of cash floats; weekly float audits and change requests

Skills/Experience:

  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Good at solving puzzles
  • Well organized and task-orientated
  • Strong communication skills & supportive team member
  • Solid understanding and ability to use Excel
  • Previous cash-handling experience desired
  • Knowledge of Siriusware an advantage
