Rental Technicians

We are looking for F/T and P/T  Rental Technicians to Join our Rentals Team.  Working in our Rental Shop you will assist guests with the rental of snowboard and ski equipment.  For technician positions we provide certification courses for qualified candidates, however, you must be 19 years of age for these positions.

Duties

  • Compliance with all Mount Seymour policies and procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook.
  • To utilize safe and efficient methods while working on ski and snowboard equipment to ensure that a high standard of service is provided to guests and staff on Mt Seymour.
  • To adjust ski and snowboard equipment in line with Mt Seymour’s policies and procedures to achieve a safe and comfortable fit for all guests.
  • Maintain a clean and well organized work area.
  • Ensure all rental forms / paperwork is completed in an accurate and neat manner.
  • Provide great guest service to all Mt Seymour guests.
  • Provide guests with information as required.
  • Other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Minimum 19 years of age
  • Some prior knowledge of skiing and/or snowboarding or equipment.
  • The ability to work well In a busy work environment
  • Ability to be a supportive team member.
  • Ideally able to ski or snowboard.

 

Terms of Employment

Seasonal position late November thru to mid-April – possible earlier start date for some positions.

Hourly wage.
