Mt Seymour is pleased to announce it’s opening for the 2016/2017 season at 1pm on Wednesday, November 30.

The recent weather has delivered an abundance of snow for a November opening with a snow depth of 60cm in the base area and 95cm at the top of Mystery Peak.

Mt Seymour will be open this week from 1pm to 9pm, Wednesday to Friday, and then 9am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. Both the Mystery Peak Express Quad Chair and the Goldie Meadows Magic Carpet will be operating, offering varied terrain for both beginner and more experienced skiers and riders. Two terrain parks will be operational on opening day.

Eddie Wood, General Manager of Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd., commented, ‘We are thrilled to open Mt Seymour for the 2016/2017 season this Wednesday, November 30. The La Nina weather system is delivering an early opening and we cannot wait to enjoy the slopes with our guests.’

Mt Seymour’s 40% off season pass sale ends at midnight on Sunday evening, December 4.
