Reports to: Rentals and Retail Manager
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Rentals and Retail Manager, this is a full-time seasonal position. You are part of the management team responsible for planning, operating, reporting, and the seasonal closure of the retail department. Seasonally you will start up and review your area of responsibility, assist with hiring and training of staff, supervise staff, report on area results, and write an annual operating report.
This position is right for you if:
- You can assist the other members of the rental management & supervisor team as required
- You can prepare and deliver pre-season and ongoing training to retail staff
- You will meet regularly with the Rentals & Retail Manager, providing reports regarding the retail department. You will also participate in regular rental/retail department meetings
- You are able to operate, consolidate, and cash out on multiple till systems
- You can supervise, lead, and coach all retail staff members
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:
- You have post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in a high-volume environment, area of work should relate to retail and display
- You have previous management/supervisory experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- You are a competent user of Word and Excel.
- You possess excellent communication, leadership, and guest services skills
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Seasonal, full-time position
