Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Department: Mountain Operations
Reports to: Assistant Operations Manager & Operations Manager
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for operating our snow plows to clear snow from our parking lots, roads, and base area facilities.
THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF
- You are mechanically inclined
- You can follow directions and work unsupervised
- You can work in all weather conditions
- You can work evening and overnight shifts
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Own vehicle required to travel to and from work
- Reliable, careful, and mature
- Minimum Class 5 BC License with air brake endorsement, class 3 with Air Brake preferred
- Previous heavy equipment operation preferred although training can be provided for the right candidate
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Seasonal position, November through to mid-April
- Hourly wage dependent on experience
- Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass
