Mt Seymour is Opening this Friday, December 1, at 1pm

Mt Seymour is thrilled to announce that they will be opening this Friday, December 1, from 1pm to 9pm for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing.  

The Mystery Peak Express Chairlift and Goldie Magic Carpet will be open, along with the Rockstar Pit and Mushroom terrain parks. The Alpine Activity Centre will be open from 9am to 9pm for season pass printing, equipment rentals, and area pases. Weekend hours for skiing and snowboarding will be from 9am to 4pm. 

Mt Seymour's first chair celebration will include a traditional blessing, conducted by Tsleil-Waututh Elder, Marge George. The ceremony will commence this Friday at 12:50pm at the base of the Mystery Peak Express Chairlift.  First chair will be at 1pm.

Eddie Wood, General Manager and President of Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd., commented, 'We are excited to be opening on December 1, and the long-range forecast is looking great. Our team is ready to start the season and we can't wait to enjoy the slopes with our guests.'

Grillworks Cafeteria will also be open from 1pm to 9pm to make sure guests are fueled up for a day on the mountain. Both Grillworks and the Rock Chute Bar & Grill will be open Saturday and Sunday.
